ALL PRODUCTS ARE SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM JAMAICA

An Item Is Missing

Sometimes because of varying item availability and warehouse locations, you may receive more than one shipment when you place an order with multiple items. We will not charge you extra for split shipments. The invoice you receive with your order will tell you which items have been shipped separately. If you still have questions about items missing from your order, please contact us and one of our knowledgeable Customer Service Associates will be happy to help you.

My Order Didn't Arrive
For most orders, you can use the Track This Order feature from My Account to check on your package's progress. If you still have questions about an order that has not arrived, please contact us and one of our Customer Service Associates will be happy to help you.

An Item Is Damaged or Defective
We are committed to your total shopping satisfaction. If an item you receive from BuyingJamaica.com does not meet your expectations, simply return it to us. Most merchandise can be returned to a store or by mail within 90 days of delivery. See our Returns Policy for exceptions.

Gift wrapping charges (if any) are not refundable. Shipping charges are not refundable except if you were sent an incorrect, damaged or defective product.

SHIPPING COSTS & TIMES

Total Delivery Time for Your Order
The total delivery time for your order is the period of time from when you place your order until the time you receive it. It is comprised of two parts: the processing time and the shipping time.

Processing time for an item is the time from when you submit your order to when the item leaves the warehouse. You can usually find an item's processing time when you click "See estimated arrival date" on the item page.


Shipping time is from when the item leaves the warehouse to when it arrives at your door. See shipping times below.

When to Expect Your Order to Arrive
During checkout, we will show you the date range during which you can expect delivery of each item in your cart.

We determine the starting date of this date range by adding the minimum processing time to the minimum shipping time and the end date by adding the maximum processing time to the maximum shipping time. For instance, if you bought a music CD that took 1 to 2 business days to process before shipping and you had it sent by Standard Shipping (3 to 5 business days), the CD would arrive in 4 to 7 business days.

Shipping times, shown below, apply to shipments as follows:

Standard - the continental United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean
Worldwide Standard - Rest of the World
Overnight - Worldwide

RETURN POLICY

 

All merchandise purchased from BuyingJamaica.com may be returned by mail within 60 days of receiving it, unless otherwise noted below. Additional guidelines are also noted below.
APPAREL, SHOES & ACCESSORIES

  • All apparel, shoes and accessories: Merchandise must be returned unworn, with tickets attached and accompanied by the original invoice.



BOOKS & MOVIES

  • CDs, DVDs, audiotapes, videotapes and video games: Must be returned unopened.
  • Books: Must be returned unused and unmarked.



JEWELRY

  • All jewelry, including fine jewelry: May be returned to a BuyingJamaica.com with a receipt. If you choose to exchange the item, you may only exchange for an item that is in stock; the exact same piece may not be available.
  • To return fine jewelry (pieces that cost $300 and above) by mail: Please follow these instructions to return a fine jewelry item by mail. Depending on the reason for the return, you may be responsible for paying the return shipping charge.

 

MUSIC

  • CDs and DVDs: Must be returned unopened.
  • Music Downloads: Cannot be returned. All sales are final and all charges from those sales are nonrefundable, except as otherwise stated in the Music Downloads Terms of Service.



HEALTH & BEAUTY

  • Cannot be returned. All sales are final. Please contact the manufacturer if you have any questions regarding defective items. Check your package for the manufacturer's name and contact information.



PHOTO

  • Photo and photo gifts: Please see Photo Center Returns & Refunds.



TOYS, SPORTS & FITNESS

  • Autographed sports memorabilia: Must be returned with the included Certificate of Authenticity.

Returns Exceptions

Here are the exceptions to our general Returns Policy:

Oversize Items

Some heavy or large items that are identified as oversize on their item pages may be returned to a store or by freight shipping. Under some circumstances, you may be charged for return shipping. To return an item by freight, please email Customer Service. They will also be able to inform you of any return shipping costs.

Damaged or Defective Items

If an item you receive is damaged or defective you can return the item to BuyingJamaica.com by mail for a full refund. If returning the item via mail, please follow the procedures listed in Return an Item by Mail, choose the appropriate return reason code from the dropdown and choose the option of refund or replacement.

Error-Related Refunds
If there is an error on our part related to your order, we will issue a credit for any applicable shipping and gift-wrapping charges.

Returning Products Containing Hazardous Materials

Due to safety hazards, special rules pertain to products that use flammable liquids or gases. In most cases, you will not be able to return the item through the mail.
Keep your original original packaging for at least the first 90 days after purchase. Some returns might require an item be placed in its original container; otherwise, special ORM-D packaging from the post office will be needed. (A postal worker can assist you.)

If you need to return a product that might fall into the hazardous materials category, you can check under the department of the item you purchased in our Returns Guidelines by Department section under the department of the item you purchased. If you aren’t sure which category applies to you, please email Customer Service for assistance.

Return or Exchange an Item by Mail
To return or exchange an item by mail, follow these instructions.
If you receive an incorrect, damaged or defective item, you can request a replacement by mail by following these instructions. The replacement item will be sent to the original "ship to" address upon receipt of the original item at our Returns Center, pending product availability.

Credit for Items Received as Gifts
Return or Replace the Gift by Mail

When you return a gift by mail, the cost of the item and the sales tax, if applicable, will be credited to the original purchaser's payment method when we receive the item. A gift you received may be replaceable by mail, if the item is damaged, defective or incorrect. Please follow these instructions to begin the return or replacement process.

Special Delivery Dates
Art & Craft - Products not in stock or our warehouse may take 3 - 4 weeks for production. If this is case you will be informed immediately by a BuyJamaica.com customer service representative. At point you may indicate if you want to continue with the order.

Swim Wear & Jewellery - Products not in stock or our warehouse may take 5 business days for production. If this is case you will be informed immediately by a BuyJamaica.com customer service representative. At point you may indicate if you want to continue with the order.
